Cookies and browser storage
What this website stores in your browser, which features are optional, and how to change your choices.
Last updated October 5, 2026
Your choices
Optional analytics, advertising measurement and support chat are off until you allow them. Accepting support chat permits it to load when you click Chat with us; it does not start chat automatically. You can browse the website and submit an inquiry without enabling any of them.
We remember your choice for 180 days. We ask again when it expires, when you clear browser storage, or when we change the version of our privacy choices. If your browser blocks storage, the choice applies only to the current visit.
Call booking
The Cal.com calendar loads only when you choose to book a call. Cal.com manages any cookies or storage used inside its booking calendar under its privacy policy. You can close the calendar and use our message form instead. Opening the calendar does not enable this website's optional analytics or advertising.
Storage inventory
| Item / provider | Purpose | Duration and trigger |
|---|---|---|
| clinicmira:privacy ClinicMira localStorage | Remembers your permissions, choice date and notice version. | 180 days after you save a choice. |
| theme ClinicMira localStorage | Remembers the light or dark theme you select. | Until you clear site storage or change the theme; saved when you select it. |
| cw_conversation Chatwoot first-party cookie | Continues your support conversation across pages and visits. | Up to 30 days from a chat session update. Created only after you allow and open chat. |
| chatwoot_campaigns_*, chatwoot_available_agents_*, and timestamp entries Chatwoot iframe localStorage | Caches widget configuration and agent availability. These names are controlled by Chatwoot. | Only after chat is enabled and opened. Cache refresh is provider-managed; stored entries can remain until the provider or you clear them. |
| PostHog localStorage and sessionStorage (ph_* marketing keys) | An anonymous browser and session identifier for returning visits, page views, campaign attribution and inquiry progress. Separate identifiers are used on each website. | Created only after analytics permission. Session entries last for the tab; persistent entries are removed when you withdraw permission or the website next detects an expired choice (choices last 180 days). You can also clear them in your browser. |
| Vercel Web Analytics | Aggregate page views, demo clicks, booking-calendar opens, form starts and successful inquiries. This integration uses no analytics cookie. | Loads only after analytics permission. Vercel documents a request-derived visitor session lasting up to 24 hours. |
| LinkedIn Insight Tag li_fat_id first-party cookie and LinkedIn cookies on its own domains | Measures visits and inquiries that come from our LinkedIn ads, and lets us show our ads to people who have visited. | Loads only after advertising permission. LinkedIn sets the durations; see its cookie table. |
We do not call Chatwoot's identify-user API. The only advertising tag is LinkedIn's, and it loads only with your permission. Chatwoot may add functional storage as its widget changes; its cookie documentation describes the provider's cookies.
What analytics includes
When allowed, PostHog and Vercel receive page-view and limited conversion events. We remove query strings and fragments from page URLs, apart from campaign tags, and do not send names, email addresses, form contents or clinical information as event properties. PostHog also receives browser and device information, a referring domain without its path or query, and safe campaign labels. It can derive approximate location from the connection IP address. We disable session recording and automatic click or form capture. Read PostHog's privacy information and Vercel's analytics privacy information for its processing details.
Campaign tags
Links in our ads and emails carry campaign tags such as utm_source=linkedin. We read them from the page you land on, keep them in memory for that visit rather than in cookies or storage, and include them with any inquiry you send so we know which campaign reached you. With analytics permission, Vercel also receives them as part of the page address. PostHog receives campaign labels such as linkedin, paid_social and clinicmira_launch as event properties; those labels must not contain contact details or other personal information.
Withdrawing permission
Open Privacy settings at any time. Turning an enabled option off reloads the page to stop its scripts and connections; save any unfinished inquiry first. We stop PostHog capture and clear its marketing identifiers from this website when analytics permission is removed. We remove accessible first-party Chatwoot cookies when chat permission is removed, and LinkedIn's first-party cookie when advertising permission is removed. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, advertising measurement stays off.
Our page cannot directly erase storage belonging to Chatwoot's or LinkedIn's separate domains, and withdrawing permission does not delete conversations already sent to our team. You can clear third-party storage in your browser and contact us about personal information through the privacy policy.
Preferences and inquiries
Privacy choices and a theme you request are functional preferences. The contact form sends the information you submit to our inquiry services independently of optional analytics or chat-widget permission. Please do not send patient records or other sensitive health information through these marketing channels.
